A physical barrier.
A cleaner sip.

Inside HYDRA, thousands of microscopic fibers physically separate contaminants from your drinking water.

Enlarged hollow-fiber illustration: water containing bacteria and microplastics approaches from the left. These contaminants stay outside the porous membrane wall while filtered water continues upward through the hollow center.

Tough on contaminants.

More than a bottle. Hydra’s hollow-fiber membrane forms a physical barrier against bacteria, parasites and microplastics as you sip.

Bacteria

Tiny germs in water that can cause stomach upset and diarrhea.

Parasites

Organisms in contaminated water that can cause intestinal infections.

Microplastics

Tiny pieces of plastic that can end up in drinking water, often too small to see.

Small fibers.
An important barrier.

Think of each hollow fiber as a tiny tube with a porous wall. As you sip, water passes through that wall into the hollow center. The membrane acts as a physical barrier, keeping targeted contaminants outside while water continues through the filter.

No electricity. No charging. Filtration is part of the sip.

01

Pre-filter mesh

Catches the big stuff.

Sediment, dirt and larger particles meet the first layer before water reaches the membrane.

02

Hollow-fiber membrane

The core filtration barrier.

Fine hollow fibers target bacteria, parasites and microplastics as water passes through.

03

Final filtration

The last step before your sip.

Water passes through the upper filtration section, then travels upward to the mouthpiece.

Watch the water’s journey

Tested at BUET.
Made for your everyday.

HYDRA’s filter is BUET certified for 99% removal of bacteria, parasites and microplastics. The same removal specification applies to HYDRA and HYDRA Lite.

Questions about certification? Talk to us

A few things
worth knowing.

Does it need electricity?

No. Water moves through the built-in filter as you drink. There’s no battery to charge.

How much water can one filter handle?

HYDRA specifies up to 2,000 liters of filtration capacity per cartridge. Contact our team for replacement and care guidance for your bottle.

Does 99% removal mean it removes everything?

No. The 99% claim covers bacteria, parasites and microplastics. It does not establish removal of every possible contaminant. Ask our team about suitability for your water source.

Where can I see the water flow?

Our bottle demonstration follows the complete bottom-to-top journey, from the pre-filter to your sip. See How It Works.
