Choosing drinking water away from home too often means a tradeoff: uncertain tap water or another disposable bottle. Hydra is working to make portable filtration a practical everyday option in Bangladesh.
Our team brings together chemical engineering backgrounds at BUET with one shared focus: a reusable bottle that is simple to use and easier to afford. Hydra Lite introduced that idea. Hydra carries it forward in a more durable form.

How we work this out
We assume each bottle filters 2 litres of water per day, replacing 2 single-use 1 litre plastic bottles, up to the cartridge's rated capacity of 2,000 litres. This is an estimate based on assumed use.
