Filtration, water sources, prices and delivery — answered plainly. If something is not here, ask us and we will answer it.

What the filter does

What Hydra removes, what it does not, and which water to use it with.

What does Hydra filter out?

Hydra’s three-stage filter targets sediment, dirt and larger particles, followed by bacteria, parasites and microplastics — 99% removal of all three. The bacteria and parasite claims are certified by BUET’s Bureau of Research, Testing and Consultation (BRTC); microplastic removal was tested in BUET laboratories. It does not remove arsenic, viruses or salt, so use it with tap water, flowing river water, or a fountain or waterfall rather than seawater or tube-well groundwater.

Can Hydra filter water from any source?

No — and the difference matters. Hydra’s filter removes 99% of bacteria, parasites and microplastics. The bacteria and parasite claims are certified by BUET’s Bureau of Research, Testing and Consultation (BRTC); microplastic removal was tested in BUET laboratories. That makes it right for tap water, flowing river water, and water from a fountain or waterfall. It does not remove arsenic, viruses or salt. Never use it with seawater, and do not rely on it for tube-well or groundwater, where arsenic is a known risk in parts of Bangladesh. If you are not sure about a source, ask us before you drink from it.

Where can I see the water flow?

Our bottle demonstration follows the complete bottom-to-top journey, from the pre-filter to your sip. See How It Works.

The bottles

Living with a Hydra day to day.

How do I use Hydra?

The everyday idea is simple: fill, sip and go. The filter is built into the bottle, so no charging is needed. Follow the product’s confirmed setup, cleaning and water-source instructions when it arrives.

What is the difference between Hydra and Hydra Lite?

Hydra has a double-wall insulated stainless steel body and a three-stage filter. Hydra Lite uses BPA-free plastic with hollow-fiber membrane filtration and is the more affordable entry option.

How long does a filter last?

Each filter cartridge has a filtration capacity of 2,000 liters. Actual filter life depends on water quality, use and care. Follow the replacement instructions supplied with your bottle.

Where can I get a replacement filter?

Contact the Hydra team for replacement-filter availability and help choosing the correct cartridge for your bottle.

Does Hydra need charging?

No. Water passes through the built-in filter as you sip, so filtration requires no electricity or charging.

How should I clean my bottle?

Follow the cleaning and care instructions supplied with your bottle and filter. Contact our team if you need guidance before cleaning or replacing a part.
